My Caregiving Journey
I became the sole caregiver for my father, Robert, after my mother's death in 2001. As an only child, the burden of caregiving weighed on me for over a decade until my father's death from renal cancer in 2014.
I have since come to realize that what I believed to be a burden was really a blessing in disguise and now actively share my story to provide inspiration and support for other young adults in similar caregiving situations.
And, now that I'm caring for my son, Nicholas, who was recently diagnosed with Autism, my caregiving journey continues, just in a different way.
The struggles family caregivers face on a daily basis is one very close to my heart. As a result, I am back in graduate school to obtain a masters degree in counseling so that I can open a therapy practice dedicated to helping caregivers thrive in their new normal.

Caregiver Outreach
I provide outreach through speaking, writing, and mentoring, as well as through my inspirational facebook page.
When mentoring you 1:1, I act as your anchor behind the scenes helping you to navigate through uncharted waters. Having been in your shoes, I can empathize with your challenges and provide the guidance and support you need as a caregiver. So much focus is on the patient that the world forgets how hard caregivers work behind the scenes to make these situations as "normal" as possible. Together, we help you help your loved one while still carving out time for yourself. I offer single consultations to give you the guidance you need when you need it or longer-term support.
To find out more details on how to work with me, email me at [email protected] or call me at 610-781-9586 today.
