“Every phase of your life will require a different you.” - Mel Robbins

Hello and welcome to my website. I'm an entrepreneur, author, educator, and speaker.
I started out my career as a paralegal working for a local bail bond company. I went on to get my bachelors degree with the intent of going to law school, but life happened (as it generally does) and I changed my mind. When I got laid off from my job, I took my degree plus my brand new certificate in intelligence analysis to a new job doing business development research at a local AmLaw 200 law firm. (Basically, I got paid to Google all day every day. #coolbeans) A few years into my job, which was now supervising the research department, I was transferred into the firm’s affiliated investment bank as an analyst in support of commercial, industrial, and services merger and acquisition deals. (I still did research, but I had a fancier title, an MBA, and two FINRA licenses.)
After being a caregiver for my father through his three year battle with kidney cancer and having a baby, I decided to take a break from corporate life to recharge and raise my little guy. So, in 2015, I founded Insight Information Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm that helps solo entrepreneurs and small businesses with their business development. To help me grow my business as a new mom entrepreneur who had scheduling issues around attending live networking events, I founded an online networking group called CuppaConnection Virtual Networking dedicated to connecting entrepreneurs and small business owners with their worldwide audiences. And, through my online networking efforts, I met four amazing women with whom I launched The Amplify Your Life and Business Show, where we dished about what really happens behind the scenes of entrepreneurship.
While business has gone well, I’ve felt a pull to change things up ever since my father’s death (which really honed in the “Life’s too short to put off your dreams” message), so I'm currently back in graduate school, this time for a masters degree in clinical counseling. After graduation, I plan to open my own practice dedicated to career development coaching and counseling.
As dedicated entrepreneurial mom, I can often be found in my home office with my not-so-helpful assistant, Nicholas, a pint-sized ball of energy determined to pull all the paper from my printer, as well as my infant daughter, Katie, who is still in the “stays where I put her” stage, thankfully. When I'm not in my office or out in the field, you can spot me at the gym, reading (or writing) a good romance story, painting some fun art, volunteering in the community, or spending time with family and friends.
I can't wait to get to know you!
